This was a great purchase! Expected to have to assemble it ourselves, but it comes in one piece. Very heavy, very solid - the kids (age 5 and 7)love it. I would anticipate using these desks for at least 5 or more years. Varnish has a strong odor when it first arrives, so would suggest airing it out in the garage a few days before bringing it inside.

I purchased this desk for my 8 year old granddaughter. It was a perfect size for her. She loved it. Perfect fit for her small bedroom. Be careful when ordering a chair to fit. I did not note measurements and ordered chair to small (my fault.) You will need youth size. Overall very good purchase, would buy again.

This is a great desk. It is made very well and is a nice oak color. We are using it in our sons' bedroom and it matches the bedroom set we purchased years ago. It is a good size....not too big, yet it has plenty of storage space for desk supplies. It is used with a laptop computer.
