Table Bases Restaurant-tables

I love this table base - it's a great cafe-style table for my kitchen. It originally was shipped short one piece, but Tables21 staff quickly shipped me a replacement part.

Although this can be used for a dining table, after reading one of the previous reviews, I chose to also use it as a desk with a glass top. I have put it in my bedroom with a crystal lamp on top and my IMac computer and I cannot emphasize enough how sophisticated this looks. As a single woman, it was very easy to carry up a few stairs and assemble on my own. In the event that I have to move one day, it will equally be as easy to disassemble and move elsewhere. If you are looking for a piece that will serve in a variety of ways, this one is for you! Do not hesitate, you will not be sorry!

Was looking for a base for a glass top to use on the patio. Was VERY pleased by this base. Good finish and easy to clean - just hose it off. The workmanship is great and it's not too heavy to move around if needed.

The reason I noted this as the 'Perfect solution' is that my husband had an old desk..not antique just old. It was used by his father..probably 60 years old/plus. When we remodeled it was moved to the garage. For two years I couldn't get my husband to part with it because of the memories. One afternoon I was having lunch with a friend at a small cafe...and there was the solution...small table with the sturdy table bases. I immediately came home and began the 'internet search'. I found your site and viewed the variety of bases. Decided on this particular base since the idea was to save the top of the desk and use it on our covered patio. When the bases were delivered I convinced my husband that the top of the desk could be saved and used daily on our patio. The memories would not be lost and we would have a table rather than a cluttered garage. He agreed and we carefully removed the desktop and attached the table bases. Perfect! Great height, very sturdy and made a great table and conversation piece. We are both happy now...he was able to maintain the major part of his dad's desk and create new memories.

I was in desperate need of a new dining table and had been looking for some time. I couldn't find anything that was a glass top the same size I already had and started to just look for table bases. I lituerally looked for about two years but the prices were ridiculous. Then I came across this base just by chance. I was hesitant to order from a company I never heard of and purchased based on the reviews that I read. I am another pleased consumer. The base is nicely crafted and sturdy and you can't beat the price. I found the same base on another website for a hundred dollars more. I couldn't be more pleased.

I purchased this to use a base for a desk, using a 36 x 60 piece of glass. I LOVE IT!! I have received so many compliments...people have even thought that I had it custom made!

We ordered this table base because we were able to have a round granite top made to match the counter top in our new bar/pool room. The granite weighs a ton but the sturdy construction holds it well with only a slight wobble.
